With the eyes of sympathy, after a while, I look at horses again as a symbol of freedom. Long ago remains the memory of a child´s accident, watching his father, a football player, on the field. The boy I was, standing distracted, walked carelessly to the horse track. The fragmented images I remember as an adult are those of my eyes reflected in the eyes of the galloping beast, the dusty air, and the fragrant, herbal smell of the manes.
